“I remember how Ellie loved to come and hear Sean's band and my band play at many places in Calgary, and how she was delighted if we dropped by Boston Pizza on 17th Ave. where she was working. I was happy to see her enjoy spending time with family at the Calgary Folk Music Festival within more recent years. It was also a good day when Ellie and Jennilee came out to see Samana and our horses in Bragg Creek. Hanging out with her in the Soo is also a treasured memory. Sending peaceful and loving thoughts to Ellie's family and friends. She was a bright and vibrant light.”
