She was predeceased by: her spouse Lennart Appel; her parents, Charles Stewart and Agnes Stewart of Echo Bay, Ontario.; her son Rodger Appel; and her siblings, Christina Graham, Ida Berthelot, Agnes Dale, Kate, Mary Stewart and William Stewart.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynda Cozzens (Jerry); her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Dowd (Tom) of Texas and Jaimie Lohrman (Rob) of Ohio; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan Dowd, Brady, Brant, Brynna Kirkpatrick and Robbie Jr. Lohrman; and her sister Barb Thornton of Sault Ste.
