It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Muriel Esau (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Scott; her parents, Elmer McGonegal and Lena Bolton; and her siblings, Pauline Evans, George, Doug, Ivan and Lorn.

She is survived by: her son Jason; her grandchildren, Deven, Anne-Marie, Amanda, Jessica and Jake; her great grandchild Lilly; her boyfriend Dick Leclair; and her brothers, Sherman and Rod. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to the S.S.M. Fraternal Order of Eagles would be appreciated by the family.

“Jason and family, I just want to send my sympathy for the passing of Donna. She was and always will be a very special friend to me. I met Donna at the Eagles, and because of her I joined up. We served many, many meals together, it was almost like a family. We also had a lot of fun on the island. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to all of you.”
