We bid farewell to Dolly Whelan (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 22, 2025. Dolly touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband John; her children, Sharon Marcolini (Tom), Debbie Whelan (Denis Leane), John Whelan (Elke) and Melanie Whelan (John Mottl); her grandchildren, Lorenz Gelbmann, Elizabeth (Max Johnson), Seán Whelan Marcolini, Matthew Harper (Jessica), Amy Harper, Quinn Gelmon and Courtney Gelmon; her great grandchildren, Juliette, Madeline and Cián; her parents, Jack Hladin and Marija Hladin; and her siblings, Verna Hladin and Dennis Hladin (Diane).
She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Hladin (Freda), Celia Lavigne (Emile) and Jack (Jocelyne).
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Precious Blood Cathedral (778 Queen St E, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A2B1).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to ARCH would be appreciated.
