He is survived by: his close friend Christine; his children, Katrina Cuglietta and David Abbott Jr. (Amanda); his grandchildren, Alysha (Justin), Bryanna (Brad), Mackenzie (Drew) and Danika (Noah); his sister Carole Abbott Janke (late Jim); his brother-in-law John Thomson (Sonya); his nieces and nephews, Caroline McDonald (Gary), Janice Peters (Brian), Neville Abbott (Penny), Ailsa Ann Kilroe, Lesley Wright (Gordon), George Thomson Jr. (Lorraine) and Steven Thomson (Brenda); and his wife Christine.
