It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Cynthia Sparling (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on July 31, 2019, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Sparling. She is survived by: her children, Zachary, Elizabeth, Michael, Tatum, Natalie and Thomas; her parent Gisele Sparling (Norm); her brother Sean (Diana); her nephews, Matthew and Jacob; her significant other Kevin Schryer; and her friends, Bruno, Cheryl Palazzi and Elena Palazzi. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Diabetes Association.

“You will wonder why, I left an odd picture of Cindy with an eye. Your mom and I shared a name. She was Cindy with an i, and I was Cindy with a y. I remember purposely looking for birthday cards with and eye stuck in the middle of a forehead. It was a silly long-standing joke. It was one of many quirky, funny, connections that we had. I have spent the last week smili.ng with a tear in my eye thinking of those happy memories.”
