He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Boyer and Susan Boyer; his siblings, Thomas Jr., Joseph, Paul, Donald, Patrick, Rose and Anne; and his significant other Marceline (Nee Mooney).

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Barbara Boyer (late Joseph), Margaret Erickson (late Allan) and Nancy Cress (Bob).
