He was predeceased by: his parents, Donna Niemi (Leo) and Ralph Barbeau. He is survived by: his wife Susan; his children, Jennifer, John (Carolyn), Tania Yarema (Chris) and Scott Yarema; his grandchildren, Jonah, Tyson and Julian; his siblings, Terry, Wendy Robb, Laurie Barbeau (late Jim Fuller) and Jim Barbeau (Elaine Deluzio); and his siblings-in-law, Rita Helpert, Vivian Smith (Laurie), Marian Giroux (late Dick) and Ivan Ramsay (Brenda). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Memorial donations to the Soup Kitchen or St. Vincent Place would be appreciated by the family.
