He was predeceased by: his daughter Laurie Williamson (Brian); his parents-in-law, Stewart and Frances Walton; and his siblings, Elva McLean (Joe Mihalich), Sharon Smith (Ray) and Ron Tanner.

He is survived by: his significant other Carol Robinson (Walton); his children, Gregory Robinson (Melinda) and Debbie Storey (Chuck); his siblings, Roy Tanner and Sherry Bouchard (John); his grandchildren, Jason (Samantha), Sarah Guzzo (Frank), Jennifer, Veronica and Danica; and his close friends, Skip MacKinnon and Bill Tucker.

Due to extenuating circumstances of COVID-19 restrictions, the family has opted to hold a celebration of life at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Bud's memory can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Society.
