He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Abe, Ida Lesage, Peter and Hannah Akiwenzie. He is survived by: his parents, Marjorie Akiwenzie and Norval Akiwenzie; his children, Trystan, Matthew Akiwenzie, Austin Zack (Haelee) and Jarett Waboose; his siblings, Darryl of Sault Ste, Marie, Bonnie of Wikwemikong and Michael (Carrie) of Richmond, B. C.; his nieces and nephews, Jasmine (Denis), Cheristy, Amanda (Dave), Michael, Kyle and Claire; and his great-nephews, Ethan and David. He is also survived by family, many other extended family members and friends.
