He was predeceased by: his parents, Orval Spurway and Bessie Spurway. He is survived by: his son Douglas Spurway; his sister Sharon Gascon (late Marcel); his siblings-in-law, Katherine Maxwell (late Roy), Robin Mathewson (Alex) and Sharon Candido (John); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher Hicks (Heather) and Shaelynn Hicks.
