He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Syrette and Robert Syrette Sr. (Bob); his brother Doug; his mother-in-law Annette; and his brother-in-law Dennis McCoy (Paivi).

He is survived by: his siblings, Buck, Darlene (Kevin), Donald, Ann and Melinda; his uncle Andy; and his siblings-in-law, David McCoy (Giedre), Donna Blackburn and Denise Blackburn (Doug). He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends.

Memorial contributions payable by cheque or online to Batchewana First Nation Food Bank or Nimkii-Naabkawagan Family Crisis Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
