It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Assunta Slobodecki (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on July 1, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicolas Delcolle and Italia Delcolle; and her sisters, Mary Dominick (Mike) and Rita Roy (Gerard). She is survived by: her husband Eddie; her sister Zena Nardini (late Joe); and her sisters-in-law, Elsie Lavallee (Frank), Amelia Deplonty (Jerry) and Anne "Nusha" Logtenberg (late Harm). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
