She was predeceased by: her parent Hannes Hamalainen; her spouse Tauno Rantanen; her son Kenneth "Kenny" Rantanen (Sarah); and her siblings, Pauli and Ilmari "Iippo".

She is survived by: her daughter Anita Pucci (Franco); and her sibling Seija (late Matti).
