Antonio Parrella-Ilaria Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonio Parrella-Ilaria (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on September 30, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Maria (Giosa); his parents, Maria Gerarda Sproviero and Domenico Parrella-Ilaria of Picerno, Italy.; his siblings, Giuseppe (late Louisa), Luigi (late Carmela), Angelina Scarili (late Pasquale), Rocco (late Lucia), Vita Russillo (late Salvatore), Sarina Ianniello (late Gigino) and Tommaso (Carmela); and his nephew Tony Giosa (Jayne) of Toronto.

He is survived by: his children, Maria (Mark Dunn) and Dominic (Laurel); his granddaughter Mercedes (Alex Ionita); his sister-in-law Carmela Parrella-Ilaria; his nieces and nephews, Rocchina, Maria Borrelli (late Carmen) of Sault Ste, Marie of Toronto, Maria Dawson (Phillip) of Toronto, Alex Giosa (Filomena) of Toronto, Rocco Giosa (late Linda) of Toronto, Roque Panza-Giosa (Lynn Beltrandi) of Toronto and Rosalia Panza of Montevideo; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tom Parrella (Jennifer), Ricky Parrella (Shannon), Cindy Parrella-Vecchio (Gennaro Vecchio), Gianni Borrelli (Jennifer), Tanya Borrelli and Adriana Borrelli (Kevin Kairiss); his brother Tony; and also Marie.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Resthome Association (OFRA), the Sault Ste. Marie Humane Society or the Sault Ste. Marie Museum would be appreciated by the family.
