Antonio Battel Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonio Battel (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on July 16, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Luigi and Romana; his siblings, Adele Boscariol (late Angelo) and Clelia Pilot (late Antonio); his parent-in-law Nicola; and his sibling-in-law Berardina "Dina" Colasacco (late Emidio).

He is survived by: his wife Antonietta; his sons, Luigi (Laura) and Anthony (Cara); his sibling Luigia Bet (late Agostino); his parent-in-law Margherita Genetti; his siblings-in-law, Dora Colasacco (late Armando), Ersilia DiMicoli (late Camillo) and Frank Genetti (late Linda); his grandchildren, Emma, Sophia, Romana, Marcella and Cesare; his aunt Marietta; and his uncle Giuseppe Frattolin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations (payable by cheque or online) to St. Veronica's Church, or the Group Health Centre Trust Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
