With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna-Maria Maguire (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on March 22, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Anna-Maria may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Maguire; her daughter Sandra Maguire (Brent); and her parents, Peter Boerdonk and Hendrika van Boerdonk. She is survived by: her daughters, Norma Elliott (Alan), Charleen Haruta (Derek) and Anne Marie Mezzomo (Wayne); her siblings, William van Boerdonk (Mary), Johanna Taglibaracci (Don) and Martin van Boerdonk (Anja); and her friend Kim. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
