With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anna-Liisa Kantovaara (Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario), who passed away on November 14, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Keijo Kantovaara; her siblings, Katri Borg, Sirkka Sundberg of Sweden, Erkki Rask and Vilho Pajari of Finland; and her parents, Julius and Katri.

She is survived by: her son Juha Kantovaara (Mary); her grandchildren, Victoria Niro (Richard) and Allison Lefave (Brad); and her great grandchildren, Reese and James. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
