She was predeceased by: her parent Rose Gilbert; her siblings-in-law, Robert Speers (late Georgina), Violet Steinke (Gilbert), Jack Speers and Bill Speers (late Barbara); and her siblings, Clara Tweedle (Arnold) and Jim Gilbert.

She is survived by: her parent Hector Gilbert; her children, Jerry (Bianca), Rod, Brian (Marilyn), Debbie Moffatt (Ron) and Donna Rossi (Mike); her grandchildren, Jason, Natasha, Jennifer, Rick, Gary, Daryl, Tom, Karl, Janice, Matthew and Ralph; her great grandchildren, Halie, Vann, Paige, Danika, Austin, Taelyn, Victoria, Sophia and Tristan; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Causley (Cliff), Jean Snell, Donald Speers (Rosemary), Margaret Powley (Edward), Ellen Bonsor (late Bram) and Betty Elliott; her sister Mary McKinnon; and her daughter-in-law Bianca.
