He was predeceased by: his grandson Phillip; his parents, Giovanni Civita and Maria Civita; his siblings, Guido (Angela), Gino (Ida), Carmelina (late Biagio), Maria (Enzo), Anna (Wayne) and Tony (late Karen); his parents-in-law, Vincenzo and Arcangela; and his siblings-in-law, Luigino (late Dolorinda), Domenic (late Mafalda), Eugenio (late Concetta), Alberto (Maria Carmina), Giovanni (late Elena) and Giuseppe (late Carmelina).

He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Anna Biasucci (Sam), Lucy Day (Larry) and John DePetrillo (Shirley); his grandchildren, Carlo (Ashlee), Joey (Nicole), Pam (Graeme) and Danielle (Andrej); his great grandchildren, Ben, Avery and Allison; and his siblings-in-law, Annina (late Emelio) and Antonio (Maria).

Memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or Precious Blood Cathedral would be greatly appreciated by the family.
