She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Vern Maki and Tillie Maki; her significant other Gordon Pitt; her children, Douglas Pitt (Lorna), Sharon Nadeau (Norm) and Kevin Pitt (Teresa); her grandchildren, Zach (Melissa), Dirk (Alisha), Danielle (Dan), Cal (Amanda), Megan (Stanley), Andrea and Nadia (Tom); her great grandchildren, Savannah, Hailey, Parker, Hunter, Colt and Emma; and her sister Ruth Lacoste (Andre). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews and their children.

Memorial donations to the Ontario Finnish Rest Home Association (OFRA) would be greatly appreciated by the family.
