He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bell and Euphemia Bell; his brothers, Tom (Donna), Bill (Clare), Fred (Anne) and Doug (Gloria); and his mother-in-law Sadie Rankin.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Edna Bell; his children, Charles (Carol), Stephen (Julia), Colleen, Keith (Shannon) and Bill (Marcy); his grandchildren, Allyson (Josh), Spencer (Kendra), Stephanie (Chris), Gavin (Melissa), Makenna, Jak, Tyler, Dylan and Bree; and his great grandchildren, Carson, Brexton Lepore, Raelyn Bell, Gracie Jo and Henrik Anema. He is also survived by his 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

With covid restrictions, he was unable to see family as frequently, but kept in regular touch through phone calls and Essential visits.
