He was predeceased by: his spouse Luigina Viola; his sons, Anthony Viola and John Viola; his parents, Antonio Viola and Lucrezia Viola; his sister Maria Cicero; his nephews, Giovanni and Gino; his sister Francesca Paradiso; his nephew Giuseppe; his sister Emilia Paradiso; his sibling Saveria Guido; his nieces, Maria and Emilia; his siblings, Mario Viola and Luisa Filice; and also Giacchino.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lucy Guzzo (Luigi) and Rosa Caputo (Robert); his grandchildren, Maria Vetro (John), Marc Viola (Zamina), Robert Guzzo (Darin), Karen Nanji (Farhad), David Caputo (Chelsey), Carrie Viola (Ben), Luca Viola and Isabella Viola; his great grandchildren, Alexander Nanji, Sofia Nanji, Caterina Nanji, Annalisa Nanji, Max Ward Caputo, Audrey Ward Caputo, Roman Ward Caputo, Senna Viola and Zander Logan Guzzo-Baez; and his nieces and nephews, Francesco, Michele, Antonio, Enrico, Sesto, Egidio, Gina, Peppina, Giulio and Maurizio.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6A5K7). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Gregory's Church (71 Estelle St, Sault Ste. Marie, ON P6C2C3).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation are appreciated.
