It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Aleksandra Galka in Sault Sainte Marie, Ontario, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 29, 2024. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Jan "John"; her children, Stanley (Leslie) and Anna (Douglas); and her siblings, Bogumil Markiewicz (Teresa) and Ludwik Markiewicz. She was also cherished by her in-laws, many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations payable by online or by cheque may be made to the Alzheimer Society in Aleksandra's honour.
