He was predeceased by: his wife Bertha; his child Roseanna MacGillivary; his grandchildren, Shannon and Kylie Rose; his siblings, Harriet Deschene (late Freddie), Harry (Nora), Charlie, Peter (Sandy) and Pat (Elaine); and his siblings-in-law, Beatrice Lacelle (late John), George, John (late Barbara) and Gary.

He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Jr. (Sharon), Randall (late Colette), Teddy (Rae), Teresa Belanger, Bev Fraser (Alan), Mike (Susan) and Billy (Dot); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Brian (Jenn), Danielle, Randall Jr., Mark, Tammy Rutledge, Michelle Hayes (Logan), Ted Jr., Fern Belanger (Autumn), Nicole Belanger, Melissa Slade (Steve), Carly Fraser, Brock (Yohana), Ashley Brown (Corey) and Jakob; his friend Johnnie Tibbles; his siblings, Florence Asselin (late Rolland), Billie Bois (late Robert) and Winston (Paulette); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Brunet (Leo) and Albert (late Gladys).
