She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Lois; her children, David Ferguson (Barb), Ken Ferguson (Kathy), Donna Majic (Tom), Nancy Brunetta (Andy Kozak) and Katrina Trebinskie (Corey); her grandchildren, Jennifer Turner (Bob), Samantha Harris (Jeremy), Laura Ferguson, Mark Ferguson, Jason Ferguson (Heather), Scott Majic (Sallina), Lesley Adams (Brandon), Adam Majic (Meghan), Stephen Brunetta (Shanna Selinger), Andrea Brunetta (Jacob Howell), James Trebinskie and Kyle Trebinskie; her parents, Hendrik Vaes and Maria Vaes; her sibling-in-law Lieve Vaes (late Hugo); her parents-in-law, Thomas and Astrid Elliott; and her siblings-in-law, Thomas Elliott (late Elsie), Robert Elliott (late Doris) and Richard Elliott (Terri).

Memorial donations to ARCH or The Algoma Autism Foundation in Abbie's name would be greatly appreciated.
