He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Kirkland; his parents, Elizabeth Kirkland (Dobson) and James Kirkland; his siblings, Don Kirkland (Jean), Ralph Kirkland (Marie) and Jean Rodgers; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Underwood (Pat) and Leola Wark.
He is survived by: his sons, Jim (Barb) of Sauble Beach, Jay (Beckie) of Sauble Beach and Jeff (Lori) of Sauble Beach; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Kyle, Joe, Clasey, Jayleen and Darby; his great grandchildren, Leo and Luca; and his siblings-in-law, Walter 'Watt' Rodgers of Southampton, Ruth Ann Clement (Ron) of Elmira, Ron Underwood (Marilyn) of Port Elgin, Cathy Trelford (Max) of Port Elgin and Connie Maksymyk (Andrew) of Southampton.
Arrangements entrusted to the DOWNS AND SON FUNERAL HOME , Hepworth Expressions of remembrance to the Sauble Beach United Church or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
