He was predeceased by: his children, Dennis, Bonnie, Carolyn, Daniel and Roland; his grandson Conner; his brothers, Clare and Orton; and his parents, David Brubacher and Elsie Brubacher (Martin).

He is survived by: his wife Vera Brubacher (Martin); his children, Catherine Brubacher, David Brubacher (Leanna), Crystal Yoder (Joel), Randal Brubacher (Tracey) and Renita Brubacher; his grandchildren, Dallas, Brianna, Dakota, Tyler, Kristen, Janae, Kendall, Kurt, Jerrica, Riley and Megan; his brothers, Harvey Brubacher (Beatrice), Mervin Brubacher (Marie) and Lester Brubacher (Catrina); and his siblings-in-law, Barb Brubacher, Marie Martin, Art Martin (Lorna), Vernon Martin (Erla), Harry Martin (Jan) and Dorothy Gingrich.
