He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldred Melanson and Marie Melanson; his son Steven Melanson; his son-in-law Jamie Clark; and his former wife Lynne.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine Bean; his children, Guy Melanson (Lisa), Lisa Clark and Jennifer Melanson (Nikki); and his stepchildren, Carrie Dunsmore (Tom), Charlie Bean, Tracy Young (Greg) and Ronnie Bean (Allison). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.
