He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Abra and Elda Abra; his brother John; and his in-laws, Carl, Alma Badgley and Bill Badgley.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Amanda and Robert (Shelby); his grandchildren, Mandi, William and Logan; and his brothers, Jim, Badge (Deb) and Burt (Cathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
