He was predeceased by: his son Steven Garnier; his siblings, Paul Gadd, Claude Bernard and Jean-Guy Bernard; his granddaughter Aurora Leigh; his mother Cecile Hanson; and his adoptive parents, Mervin Gadd and Pauline Gadd.
He is survived by: his significant other Sandra Garnier; his children, Eric Phillion (Marcia), Michael Gadd Jr. and Chantel Garnier (late Rich); his siblings, Pat Campbell (Lou), Gene Campbell (Laura), Tammy Benway (Paul), Patrick Gadd, Brian Gadd and Loraine Bernard; his grandchildren, Dexter, Donovan, Charlize and Benjamin Phillion; and his father Barry Campbell. He is also survived by many cousins and nieces and nephews.
