He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his extended family, Mark McElrea (Ann), Jim McElrea (Eileen), Jerry McElrea (Gladys), Ann Newman (Stan) and Cara Porter (Wayne); and his close friend Marie Inchley. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
