She was predeceased by: her spouse Fredrick H. Kern; her parents, George Downer and Evelyn Downer; and her granddaughter Karley Jean. She is survived by: her children, Paul (Ingrid), Todd (Shelley) and Lisa (Steve); her grandchildren, Wade Kern, Katie Kern, Mitchel, Kelly, Kristy Hodgins and Karissa Kern; and her siblings, Marie Bustin (Don) and Ira (Brenda).
