He was predeceased by: his son Marcel; his parents, Edmond Morin and Demerise Morin; and his siblings, Paul, Wilfrid (Jeannine), Gerard and Annette (Raymond).

He is survived by: his wife Yvette Gamache; his children, Jean-Guy (Louise) of Sarnia, ON, Ginette Charette (Kirk) of Sarnia, ON, Ghislain (Vianne) of Sarnia, ON, Sylvie Desveaux (Dave) of Sarnia, ON, Serge (Wendy) of Hamilton, ON and Johanne Burd (Brad) of Sarnia, ON; his grandchildren, Linda, Rachelle (Jason), Marc (Lisa), Nancy (Brad), Danielle (Ben), Renée (Shawn), Julie (Adam), Christine (Chad), Michelle (Cory), Cory, Marcel (Nicole), Luc (Sydney), Jacques, Ted (Darlene), Katherine (Larry) and Joey (Krista); and his brother Jean-Marie. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, and nephews.
