He is survived by: his children, Nancy Vella and Ron Matthews; his grandchildren, Tina, Gordie, Jovana (Brian), Eric, Nikki (Taqqee), Melissa and Jaime (Summer); his children, Gladys, Gordon James Matthews (Diane), Barbara Thomson (Jack) and Bonnie Bourassa; his son-in-law Jim Vella; his granddaughter Dusty Vella; and his wife Phyllis. He is also survived by many great grandchildren.
