He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ann and Jane Ann (Turner); his spouse Thomasina "Ena"; and his siblings, Stanley Hudson and Blanche Riley.

He is survived by: his children, Steven Hudson of Sarnia, Susan Van Hooft (John) of Sarnia, Jane Ann Hudson of Sarnia and Mary Rottmann (Paul) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Johnny Van Hooft (Genny), Andrea Van Hooft and Adam Laker (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Savanah, Hayley, Van Hooft, Bella and Wyatt Laker; and also, John and Wanda Philbin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
