Cecile McGillivray Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile McGillivray of Sarnia, Ontario, who passed away on July 25, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Cecile McGillivray to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Patrick Lariviere and John Scripnick; her parents, Ovila Leclerc and Laura Leclerc; her children, Raymond, Norman, Richard Lariviere and Constance Carey (Richard); her grandson Jason Lariviere; and her siblings, Rolly, Rene, Fern, Jeannette, Rollande, Claire, Beatrice and Theresa.

She is survived by: her sons, Roger (Valerie Lariviere) of Sturgeon Falls and Ron Lariviere of Cobden; her grandchildren, Robbie, Jamie, Jeffery, Justin, Sandra, Heather, Melinda, Amanda, Jennifer and Dawn Carey; and her great grandchild Taylor Johnson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

Due to the current COVID – 19 restrictions, the gathering of family and friends will be by invitation only. Please note, as per the directive of the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, all in attendance are required to social distance and to wear a face mask.

Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
