Berton Giffels Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Berton Giffels of Sarnia, Ontario, who passed away on July 13, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Olive and Orval; his siblings, Clifford and Junie; his father-in-law Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanor (Hank), Stanley, Donald (Joanne), Kathleen (Randy), Margaret (Joseph), Betty (Lee), Mary (Darcy), John (Yvonne-Marie) and James.

He is survived by: his wife Agnes 'Honey'; his daughters, Carol Ann Dillon (Tim Dillon) and Darlene Giffels (Perry Jeffery); his grandchildren, Mariah Dillon (Ross), Alex Serratore (Petra), Cortney Dillon (Alex) and Brock Serratore; his great grandchildren, Everett, Nina and Maiya; his children, Haley, Mel (Evan), Ty and Jesse; his siblings, Jeanie Prudom (late Stu), Patricia Cook (late Don) and Gail McKay (late Doug); his mother-in-law Mary Hubbard; and his siblings-in-law, Annie (late Richard), Jeanie, Patricia (Alfred), Francis (Pierrette), Bernadette 'Bunny' (Bob) and Gerarda (Bob). He is also survived by best friends, sweethearts and true partners.

Due to the current Covid-19 crisis and the current restrictions placed on the funeral home, all guests are required to wear masks.
