It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Sygrove of Sarnia, Ontario, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, who passed away on September 7, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Fred; her daughter Nancy; her parents, Arthur and Elizabeth (Sparkes); and her siblings, Arthur, Hazel, Susanna, James, Rhodes and Olive.
She is survived by: her sons, Allan (Louise) and Brian (Megan); her grandchildren, Jill Sygrove (Jamie), Andrew Thomas (Lindsay), Geoff Sygrove, Laura Sygrove (Rich Fittousi), Kevin Thomas and Jeremy Sygrove (Rachael); her great grandchildren, Seth, Turner, Mac, Logan, Olivia, Evan and Isabella; her siblings, Joyce Collins and Ted Winsor; and her grandchild Sandy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the current Covid-19 crisis celebration of Alma's life will be held at a later date.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Alzheimer Society (Dementia Research) or the Royal Canadian Legion, Br #62 Poppy Fund.
