He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Anne (Deline); his brothers, Robert (late Velva Jane) and John (Stella); and his parents, Walter Spence and Evelina Maude Spence (Parsons).
He is survived by: his children, Daphne (John) and Jeffrey; and his grandchildren, John (Chantal), Mark (Lisa), Nathan (Shelby) and Brynne. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
