He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Brinn (Durrant); his children, Freda, Jill, Bonnie, Fred and Lori "Angel" Chouinard; his sisters, Eleanor Krenper of Tillsonburg and Loretta Hasiwar of Straffordville; and his brother-in-law Ken McLean of Courtland. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
