He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Johnston (Polland); his son Edward; his siblings, Jerry Johnston, Teddy Johnston, Carol Gauthier, Susan Johnston, Leonard Johnston, Keith Johnston and Jackie Johnston; and his parents, Ted Johnston and Ruth Lytle.
He is survived by: his children, Ruth Willson (Rodger), Debbie Valentine (Barry), Sandy Foley (Peter), Ricky Johnston (Kathy), Nancy Reeves (Dennis) and Cathy Johnston; and his siblings, Bill Johnston, Patt Axson, Ronnie Johnston, Kenny Johnston, David Johnston, Mike Johnston, Jimmy Johnston, Roger Lacey and Pat Loucks. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
