He was predeceased by: his father Ross. He is survived by: his wife Denise Herbert (Hoad); his children, Lee and Casey (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Ashton, Elizabeth and Quinton; his siblings, Daniel (Janet), Edward "Ted" Herbert (Ann) and Sadly; and his mother Elizabeth "Betty" Herbert (Ashton). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid-19 a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
