Velma (Barber) A. Murphy Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma (Barber) A. Murphy (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), born in Windham Centre, Ontario, who passed away on May 30, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Larry Murphy (Wendy Dwyer) of Union, Linda Simmons (Grant) of St. Thomas and Cherished; her grandchildren, Darryl Murphy (Catherine), Brian Murphy (Samantha), Mike Murphy (Stephanie), Craig Simmons (Aggie Young) and Scott Prezeau (Amanda); her siblings, Gerald Barber (Betty), Gladys Mott, Melvin Barber, Hazel Ayres, Bertha Hunter and Max Barber; and her parents, Roy Barber and Mae Barber. She was also cherished by several great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or the CNIB will be gratefully acknowledged.
