She was predeceased by: her sibling Arie; and her parents, Hendrik Gelderen and Christina Van Gelderen. She is survived by: her husband John Van Houwelingen; her children, John (Wilma), Christine, Helen, Derek (Susanna) and Pauline (John); her grandchildren, Jesse (Lisa), Dustin (Jodi), Spencer (Kaitlin), Cayla (Devin), Nico, Derek, Anton, Izaak, Ava, Claire, Jordan, Logan, Charlotte, Paisley, Lincoln, Jaxon and Cecilia; her siblings, Nel, Stien, Jaap, Paulien and Henk; and her sisters-in-law, Ans and Dineke. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
