He was predeceased by: his spouse Ruth Lake (Crowther); his siblings, Dorothy, George, Newton, Christie, Kay, Bertha, Jean, Bruce and Don; and his parents, Freeman Lake and Jenny Lake (Foote).

He is survived by: his siblings, Blanche Hill and Marjorie Townson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
