She was predeceased by: her husband Abraham "Abe" Dieleman; and her parents, Joseph Johnston and Teresa Johnston (Brown). She is survived by: her children, Tim Dieleman (Shelley), Tom Dieleman (Susan) and Anne McVety (Fred); her grandchildren, Alexandra, Jeremy, Rachel, Danielle, Samantha and Max; her great grandchildren, Aurelia and Braysen; her sibling Greatly; her friends, Denise Crevits, Phyllis Johnston and Helen Jenner; and her pet Benji.

Remembrances may be made to Hospice of Elgin or Grace Cafe.
