He was predeceased by: his siblings, Ana Vulic (Martin), Mile Nekic and Manda Barkovic (Nikola); and his parents, Tomo Nekic and Milka Nekic (Roncevic).
He is survived by: his spouse Ljiljana "Lilly" (Vlahek); his children, Tomo "Tommy" and Casandra "Cassie" Nekic; and his siblings, Kata Matijevic Nekic, Ante Nekic (Nevenka) and Dragica Kolaric (Vojo). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
