Ruthann (Chapman) Smith Obituary
Peacefully on April 12th, 2025, Mom went home. She was met by her husband Wayne "Smitty" Smith, her parents Helen & Ernie, and her siblings Alex & Jean. Her granddaughter Noelle guided her on her journey. Ruthann worked as a palliative care homemaker for many years. She was an avid crafter, creating beautiful "Gifts of Love". She adored her grandchildren, Marco, Jamie, Ryder, Sabrina, Nick, Casper & Katie, with whom she shared a love of K-Pop!
Her girls, Tammy & Tracey, as always, were by her side with their love and support.
A special thank you to Dr. Paul Hammond and the amazing staff in the Stroke Unit; you allowed our mother to pass peacefully, and the support you gave us will never be forgotten.
Donations can be made to the Stroke Unit at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Kate's Café and sweet treats (154 Fifth Avenue, St. Thomas, Ontario N5R1N9).
