Roderick Ferguson Obituary

We bid farewell to Roderick Ferguson (Saint-Thomas, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 31, 2024 at the age of 92. Roderick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his son Roderick George Ferguson; his siblings, Margaret Patterson (late Ivan) and Colin (Joyce); and his parents, Donald A Ferguson and Vera Ferguson (Lewis).

He is survived by: his children, Malcolm Ferguson (Barb), Donald Ferguson (Maureen), Catherine (Katie) and Gutmanis (Art); his grandchildren, Delaney, Annie, Jack Ferguson, Rod, Sam Gutmanis and Grant Ferguson; his siblings-in-law, John Martyn (Sally), Harold Martyn (Patricia), George Martyn (late Patricia) and Marjory Watson (late McKellar); and his son Mac.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (45 Elgin St, St Thomas, ON N5R3L9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Knox Presbyterian Church (55 Hincks St, St Thomas, ON N5R3N9).

We had so many good times at the track , at their home , on their boat and in Florida at Payson ( with breakfasts at Crackerbarrel always included) Rod was the definition of a gentleman in every sense of the word and he will be greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to to know him.
